Maya 2017 Update 4. Rapid Rig 2.2.1. Mirroring issues with FK Chain Mirror Module Option

When using the curl channel control on pairs of FK chains created, some of the chains curl the wrong way.
 
As if they've not been mirrored.

    Here is a repo case that might be related:
    1. Create a proxy rig, spine and arms.
    2. Attach a set of 4 fingers out of FK chains to the arms module. Select mirror and X outward.  Enable IK does not matter.
    3. Create a rig from this proxy.
    4. Test finger controls and they will mirror correctly
    5. Go back to proxy rig and rotate fingers.
    6. Rebuild rig and controls will not mirror correctly.

    Update:
    Just create a new proxy rig and add any number greater than 2 FK chains, mirrored.  Generate rig. First set of controls will rotate mirrored, second will not, etc.., last chain will rotate mirrored.  Issue is very apprearant when setting proxy chains to Y or Z, then controls will be visually oriented incorrectly.

    I have the same issue with version 2.2.2 in maya 2016 SP6
     
    I've tried building left and right fingers as separate modules and the right side middle chains always has the wrong joint orientation. Even if using the preset biped proxy to create rig, the issue still exists.
