Instance Copier is an easy way to make animated instances of geometry. It works similarly to an animated snapshot but groups all geometry for a given frame rather than per piece of geometry. It also renames, groups and selects the copies. Select the geometry you want, set the start and end frame of your animation and what rate you want that sampled. It also selects the geometry in sequence after copying for easy use in the particle instancer setup box.
