BackFromFive is a scene exporter. It lets you transfer basic object information between different versions of 3ds max using a MAXScript intermediate format. No importer is required - the utility generates a set of MAXScript files. When run as a regular script, the main .ms file recreates the exported scene as close as possible.
New in 0.4.2: *BFF has been enhanced to support unlimited number of objects without memory problems by exporting every object's data to a separate .ms file. *Directory structure has been improved. *Complete export can be packed automatically into a ZIP file for easier transfer to other machines. *Support for Editable Poly export has been added. *Max 6 ready. *The BFF Webpage has been updated with more details on installation and usage. Please see the page for features and limitations.
