I use the sprite wizard, but always do another 10 min setup. This script removes the painful connection to lifespanMode and sets it to constant.
It adds extra atts on the particle shape to control spin, the random range of spin both positive and negative, and spin decay. It also gives sets up uniform scale on the sprites; nParticles scale is controlled by particle size tab, classic particles have an array mapper and ramp controlling size.
