Just some weeks ago I saw a topic in MEL section in which someone asked how to create a random movement like some samples he gave (https://www.esnips.com/doc/1226873d-d60f-45c5-aab8-17151cbe03f6/random-movement & https://www.esnips.com/doc/93f4e383-e35b-4d3c-8d2a-ac7079f3f45d/random-grid )
in maya using MEL. I tried to do that and after that was finished It gave me some cool results. So I decieded to upload it in MEL section. The code is pretty straight forward and You just have to execute this in your script editor and watch the movement.
I think it may come handy in some cases or atleast it's good to give you the idea . The movement is 2D and simply can be enhanced to 3D (by adding 2 more conditions and dir.Codes)
