shelf buttons

Date:10/09/2013

I ran the executable in Maya 2014 and didn't get any shelf buttons. Without shelf buttons, it won't work. Any idea why this would happen. I've installed and uninstalled several times. I even tried it on Maya 2013 and the same thing. I get a new shelf but no buttons.

I'm gonna investigate shelf issue more thoroughly. For now, just try creating a python shelf button with a command: from ngSkinTools.ui.mainwindow import MainWindow;MainWindow.open()

Hi, under which OS is that? I think there were reports like that on Win 8 before.

I followed Manual Installation procedure (https://www.ngskintools.com/documentation/current/install.html). It says: "4. New shelf should be available." I didn't get any new shelf. When I tried running install.py, it returned an error: [ERROR] There was an unexpected error: maya settings path 'C:\Users\myUserName\maya\2014-x64' does not exist; please check if you have correct maya version (Maya 2014 64bit) installed. Press any key to exit.' I'm pretty sure the path, Maya version, and downloaded ngSkinTools are correct. Any idea why this would happen?

Same issue here, Maya 2015 SP3. I've tried copying files manually, using the installer, etc.
