NURBS Conical Arcs contains three plugins for easy and flexible modeling of the quadratic curves (that could be presented by one equation), which are also known as conic sections (conics).

There is an aspiration for opening up new and more efficient graphic tools for expanding the functionality of 3ds Max. Models of real objects (2D and 3D objects, trajectories, phenomenon, etc.) should be designed correctly and to be useful.
Very often trajectories of velocity, borders of real objects, forms and etc., are quadratic curves (conic sections = conics - the curve of intersection of a plane with the surface of a regular cone). The optical properties of the conics are well known as well. So, those curves are very important to be represented in every graphics system as design tools. That is why I developed methods allowing interactive modeling of elliptic arcs, parabolic arcs and hyperbolic arcs conical arcs.
The most popular mathematical model in the graphics systems for representing and designing curves is NURBS. NURBS curves are parametric, which is a good advantage for computer realization. That is why my wish is to represent the arcs by NURBS curves.
