Hi this is probably a stupid question but I have been through all the tutorial videos but cant seem to find an answer.
How is it possible to set this tool up so that 2 or 3 people on different computers but working out of the same project can have access to the the same asset list etc.?
Hello,
First, you need to set up the script and project folder on a network drive that everyone have access to.
i.e.
X:/SimpleTools
X:/Project
Second, you have everyone working on the project set the exact same preferences for the asset manager.
Now unfortunately, they'll have to manually refresh the ui to see the asset update.
It won't refresh automatically.
I've worked several time with this setup on small teams and it worked very well.
