UPDATE TO VERSION 2.1.0

Some nice additions that I` hope you`ll find useful:

Extensive additional support for the saving and management of playblast videos:

- ability to save playblasts into custom folders with intelligent incrementing and time stamping
- example filename : C: / PlayBlasts / ActingShot / ActingShot_008_12.Aug.2008(14.33).avi
- quick access to custom playblast location folders
- easy playback of most recent playblast after video player has been closed down

- using these features you could easily and automatically build a record of your shot workflow progression
from start to finish, or easily recall progressive playblasts for feedback purposes.

Mac support

- Mac support is untested right now, but should work fine as far as I can tell.

Addition of new "Navigator" window

- emulation of PhotoShop's navigator window
- enables you to zoom into your shot to work on specific areas that are easier to work with closer in.
- zooms and pans without moving your camera
- quickly jump back and forth between full shot view and your custom zoom and pan for comparison.

UPDATE TO VERSION 2.0.9

Fixed the "moduleLib_whichModule" error .. sorry to all who had problems with this.

UPDATE TO VERSION 2.0.8

Added dual window and multi "control camera" functionality.

added ability to save camera setups into the scene.

Instead of the checkBox options for default viewport display prefs, you can now simply setup your window as you like ( with all the features such as lighting, shading, renderer etc ) and "sample" the viewport. This gives more options than were available before.

Added support for multiple sound file nodes.

UPDATE TO VERSION 2

After numerous requests, I have re-written the script to use persistent user set preferences that will remain saved between different maya sessions.
So you can now choose how you like shotView to set itself up, and it wil load the same way each time ( unless of course you edit your preferences again )

available options:

default display filter
default window resolution
default lighting
defauly black bar thickness
defaut resolution scalar

default playblast display / lighting filter
default playblast resolution
default playblast resolution scalar
default pre and post roll frame ranges.
