could someone please lead me step by step how to make it work? i'm very new to maya and i wish to render polyhedron geometry. i don't understand how to apply this python script, where and how.
Maya has inbuilt platonic solids generation? I mean even the code is not anything exciting so even as a sample this is not the way i would go about to do this. But yes adequate.
If its a programming exercice But then why not program it proper? And then why not comment it as such. And why sperad one.
Anyway avoid using mc.polyCreateFacet and mc.polyUnite look into using mfnmesh isntead.
