This tool is really really great!!!! THANKS A TON!! it saves a lot of time weight painting and gives great smoothing results i'de only dream of getting from maya's default "smooth" paint weights option... too bad can't undo... no matter though cause i've grown accustom to not using the undo anyway when painting weights :-D THANKS AGAIN!!

Thanks for messaging me about how to use the tool Tom! This tool is genius! I can't believe how this has saved me so many times during weight painting. Only thing I wonder is if you can find a way to make it a little less laggy? When I paint on high poly count res meshes it ends to give me some lag but I always wait for it since it's so much faster than trying to do it with regular skin weight tools. That might be a may problem though. Even regular weight tools tend to give me some lag at times. Thanks again man!

Don't know how to use it. I type in import tf_smoothSkinWeight into Mel box at bottom of Maya 2011? If so I get an error. I have a mesh with rigged skeleton binded to it that is a requirement right? Sorry new to this can anyone be more specific on how to use it? Thanks!
