This script creates a frame buffer node for each material_x in your scene. Connections are based on:
Simple preset: result passes are created only Advanced preset: raw and level are created. User defined: based on user input.
Please note, this script will not create the buffer write node. I've only tested this in maya 2008 ext 2.
