This simple script generates arrow rigs from curves. It is made with standard maya nodes so It is possible to dive in to check how this is done. The curve you use for the arrow will be its controller, you will find all the arrow controls in it.
The rig is self explanatory. The output geometry is made mostly for motionGraphics and infoGraphic purposes, it is not concepted for highend renderings.
Usage: copy the script in your script directory. Source the script or load and execute it via script editor. select one or more curves, type dinoArrow; in the command box.
