[Angelo Vildasol] it's so easy to edit the py file to point at your path, just edit the line UIFile = "THE PATH TO THE .ui FILE" ex: UIFile = "/volumes/mayascripts/AlignObjects/AlignObjects.ui" that's all you need, and yes the python version works on mac osx -

I'm still incredibly confused as to how I need to edit this py file path for the script to work on a MAC. I'm running OS X 10.8.2. Your installation instructions only cover the process for editing the a PC path. Could you possibly post a screenshot of how the AlignObjects.py path should look? Also, does the current version of python even work for my MAC OS version? Hope you can help me out here. Thanks! -

This is a fantastic tool - works exactly like the align tool in Max. Many thanks! -

it's so simple to make the plugin work if you're using maya 2012 or 2013 just install the pyqt for maya 2012 from the link I gave you, then go to your Pyqt installation folder then COPY the folder names "site-packages" to "MAYA_INSTALLATION_FOLDER/Python\Lib" overwrite existing one if asked. that's all. -

Hi, so I'm trying to get this working but I'm having a bit of trouble getting it to work... So I installed the PyQT for maya 2012 X64, and then in the AlignObjects.py file, I changed that one line to where AlignObjects.ui is located, then in Maya I opened up the script editor in Maya and copied and pasted the script in the Python tab and put it my shelf but when trying to use it, I get the message "# Error: ImportError: No module named PyQt4" Is there something simple that I'm missing or something obvious that I just didn't know I had to do? Thanks!
