The scene consists of three polygonal objects, properly named in model space:
- bamboo_leaves........2372 faces, 5930 vertices, double sided geometry, every leaf consists of 4 quad faces, so there are 593 leaves in all.
- bamboo..................3779 faces, 4696 vertices, single sided geometry, branches and twigs of a bamboo plant.
- vase.......................1160 faces, 1162 vertices, single sided geometry.
All polygonal faces are quads, all of the objects can be subdivided (smoothed) for more detail. Face normals are properly oriented and are included in all file formats. The model's dimensions are in real world units [1:1], top of the plant is 1,2 meters high (120 centimeters, top to bottom).
There are three textures included in BMP format. One for the leaves, one for the bamboo and one for the vase. Leaf texture is 512x512 pixels in size, while bamboo and vase textures are 1024x1024.
Materials are included, there are three of them, with textures applied in diffuse [color] slots of materials. Materials are standard, scanline Phongs and thumbnails are rendered with included materials (with mental ray). Materials are compatible with all rendering engines and are included in obj format too (bamboo.mtl). Lightning setup isn't included, image based lightning (HDRI) recommended.
Textures are in separate zip archives, they should be extracted in the same directory with model file formats, they will be automatically loaded with the model that way, or they can be manually placed on any preferred path.
