The model is of a Type 42 Batch 1 destroyer from around 1982. Primary weapons systems included in the model along with a representation of what the Bridge may look like inside. These systems include the 4.5inch Mk 8 Naval Gun and Seadart SAM System.
The model is in waterline configuration. The model has been made using a 1:700 scale model as a guide and also from pictures, external dimensions are acurate to within 25cm.
