This is Deneb, from a new project and a new sf story.
From Summery: Deneb is captured by the enemy and is dragged in the entrails of the planet. She finds herself face to face with her atavic past, soon her mutation will be complete, she will become Hadagahel the goddess of X'Lian!
This illustration is drawn from a series of images relating a presentation of a 3D animation project that my company is realizing as self promotion.
The girl is one of the main characters, a robot with the body being upgraded.
The character wears, in different moment of the story, many different types of metallic masks.
At the moment she just chose one and is solding it on her face.
The design comes from my illustration and a 3D model used subsequently for the poster and the animation in the 2004-2005 editions of the "Virtuality Conference, now" View Conference ".
To make this image I did use Maya to model it and Photoshop to mount the different rendered levels.
