Another "want to be a photo" image.
This one was illuminated with SIBL (HDRLabs)
liquids are a difficult subject, I don't know how do you do them , but simulation has never worked for me, so I always model them whith ZBrush...
Don't ask me about the subject of this image.
I can only say I was trying the hair system in Softimage...
This image is inspired on an old catalog from Garton pedal cars, you can find the original browsing the web.
My aim was keepeng the vintage feel in this 3-d recreation...
A 3d version of a Simon Alander lettering artwork. (made with permission)
An imaginary beer packshot.
This image was rendered using Octane, an unbiased renderer. Worth to try.
The texture was an edited text, (not scanned), the problem was puting the right words on the areas of the tank the client wanted.
This is a beautiful design by Sergey Steblina at Motto design,(www.motto.com.ua), Thanks for the permission, Sergey.
This Character is inspired by Robert Crumb comics.
A basic mesh was modelled in XSI, it was refined and "polypainted" in ZBrush4 and, finally, back in XSI, rendered with MentalRay.
My first concern was getting Crumb's style recognizable in 3d.
I hope you like it.
I don't drive, I have no driving license nor a car, but I like cars a lot. This is an attempt to do a realistic one at least.
I like chocolate and almonds, MentalRay allowed me to do a very soft and creamy shader for this piece of chocolate...
I remember this in my childhood. This work is an attempt to do some different materials and textures in a realistic way...
My own version of the UFO Ranch. Vandalism included.
