Nick Dupree said over 7 years ago:Hey there Israel. Updating the textures is super simple. Just edit or replace the files in the sourceImages folder and reload the textures in Maya. From the sounds of it, you are trying to create new materials. I do not have geo groups because there is no need for them. Open up the UV texture editor, go to the desired UV set and select the all of those faces. Then apply your material to those faces. Repeat this step for the other section. After you do that you need to open up the UV linker and link the textures to their respective UV sets. I suggest you do some reading on UV linking and the UV texture editor. https://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/maya2014/en_us/index.html I hope this helps, Nick.
Can't separate the body and head textures when trying to add them. There is no Geo group for the face. Only for the body and that transfers onto her face when I add any textures to the Body Geo group.
