SOMERsault hires new CGI Supervisor Chad Ashley
Chicago - Chad Ashley has been brought on board as CGI Supervisor for SOMERsault, a leading motion graphic design and visual effects company based in Chicago. Chad will be the lead CGI artist, supervise productions, develop visual effect shots, and oversee a department of CGI artists.
I'm very excited to join the talented team of artists here at SOMERsault, says Ashley. It is our goal to elevate clients expectations in not just CGI, but all area of motion graphics and visual effects. I believe we have the group here at SOMERsault to do that and much more.
Prior to joining SOMERsault, Chad was CGI Supervisor at Optimus, Chicago. While there, he worked on various projects, including spots for clients such as Cadillac, Bud Light, Mc Donalds, Chrysler, Earthlink, and Gatorade. He was also the lead artist on the AICP Midwest Show opening title sequence in both 2005 and 2003.
I am thrilled to have Chad join the group, says SOMERsault producer Ross Woods, because he brings with him such a wide-range of high-level talent. From creating killer robots out of buildings, to capturing the subtle emotional quality of shadow puppets, Chad understands what each project needs and captures it perfectly.
Ashley will be supervising a team of CGI artists and implementing new gear as SOMERsault revamps its CGI department from the ground up. Chads SOMERsault CGI joins the already talented roster of artists that includes Paul Rosckes, Robert von Bjal, Melissa von Bjal, Sally Avila, Nick Campbell, Amy DeLongis, and Megan Cox.
