Subject: I loathe the online support location (dungeon) of autodesk

I have to try to login so many friggin times and refresh and trick the
friggin server into letting me in to the subscription area whether it be
mozilla or IE. Friggin sucks so fn bad.

Been on the fence about but I for one (glutton for punishment after
almost 20 years) Not going to renew my Autodesk contracts anymore :(

I admit to be somewhat put out that it does not recognize FireFox - any
version (and I can not log in today for some reason) - but the sequence
is not all that hard. I guess it boils down to the personal choice of
how much one uses support and the value of the updates. As an
independent freelance TD I think it is worth doing the Hokey Pokey to
get into support and have free updates. Plus you can use email to update
existing cases and that is pretty handy.

It's certainly a case of "mileage may vary".

Unless your going to jump to another software package, I would stay on
it. These days the price is considerably lower then paying for
upgrades. Also as soon as you go past 3 versions and all of a sudden
want to get on support again, they totally F you on back support and
you might as well buy a new license.

I think it must be an issue with today (I hope), but I can't get in with
either Firefox or Safari from my Mac.

Can anyone else get in today? What platform and browser/version are you
using if you can?

theres a small link at the bottom of the nonsense page telleing you thet
you are not running ie....

so seamonkey works fine, once you click the link and thereby tell it to
shut it and let you in...

I can log in with Safari 3.1, also there is an annoying warning page
which says that the system settings must be changed.

Can't understand why Autodesk tries to force their customers to use
the IE! Stop this, please!

now I cant get into the annex either, my login works fine but every time
i click 'annex' im bounced back

Contact your local reseller and ask them to please address this with
Autodesk. It is probably one the more effective ways to communicate back
to the parent company.
