This script will create a triple shading switch network used for painting on patch models with a 3D paint package.
To use the script:
1) Create your patch model and group all the patches under a single group node.
2) Open the "Convert to File Texture" options box found under the "Edit" pulldown menu in the Hypershade or Multilister.
3) Set the options to your desired output settings and save these settings. The script will create file textures for each patch and use these settings by default.
4) Select your patch group node and run the script..
