This is the concept I've been thinking about for a very long time really. But for various reasons only now I was able to quench my "need for Fallout" thirst ;) Yes, I'm a huge fan of Fallout game and hence all of that post apocalyptic post nuclear stuff, you know, which is extremely dear to my heart. So I thought it might be a good idea to draw something interesting that would express my love and passion for the sacred Title's philosophy :) I've been working on this for about 3 weeks (mostly erazing and correcting what was drawn previously) recalling good ol' times double clicking on fallout.exe and once again understanding that "war.. war never changes..."
Realy nice work, is this only matte painting or did u use some 3d elements?

Thanks! Yes, a few elements in this scene were modelled and rendered in Softimage|XSI. Tried to keep 3D elements as lowpoly as possible leaving further editing and final touches to Photoshop. Check this pic out: http://cinealliance.com/xenomorf/casi.jpg
Haha that's awesome, i thought it was a fallout theme and had to read your post to confirm. That game is one of my favorites, just something about it that is very eerie and chilling. You captured the feeling well in this work. The coloring is a near perfect match. This is an oustanding piece.
i've never heard of the game Fallout,, wahaha.. my bad.. ;p but i like everything that you've done with your masterpiece! whoooaaaa!!! your city ruins create an impact on me, i now have different interpretations about it.. basically, i deciphered it as the fragmented people of the world today... sooner or later, this reality might become the rest of the world... *sign* oh what the heck! great job!!! xD
