Character Design & Integration with Half-Life2 and Maya
Part of the Noesis Interactive, Mod Your World
training series, shows how you can "Share Your Character" by focusing
on creating and implementing your own characters within Half-Life2 Deathmatch.
After extracting existing Half-Life2
models for reference, you'll begin by using custom templates to quickly
transform ordinary facial photos to Deathmatch adversaries in no time.
Then, learn the award winning Autodesk
MAYA character toolset (including version 8). Focus on rigging,
weighting, UV mapping and preparing your models to be exported to
various game engines. Next test, perfect, and export your 3D characters from MAYA into Half-Life2 Deathmatch. Includes both English and Spanish versions.
